My clients and I work together to achieve a personalized look by discussing the following three areas.
TYPE Classics, hybrids, volumes, and mega volumes
STYLE Natural eye, cat eye, doll eye, squirrel eye and open eye
CUSTOMIZATION Length, curl, wispiness and density
When choosing a perfect combination of type, style and customization, we'll take into consideration the shape of your eyes, as well as your personality. If you choose a style solely based on how it looks on someone else, be aware, that it may look differently on your eyes due to the aesthetics of your face.
So, let’s talk about…
STYLE and the shape of your eyes.
Which one of the images below best describes your eye shape?
The eyelash style you choose can beautifully showcase or detract from your eyes. Have a conversation with your lash artist about your eye shape and what you would like to achieve with your lash extensions. That will help determine which style might work best for you.
TYPE and your personal style Does your personality speak quietly or does it scream big and bold? Are you somewhere in between?
Classics | Hybrids (A mix of classics and volumes) | Volumes
This consideration will help you decide if you want classic lashes or a more dramatic set. The important thing is that you feel comfortable with whichever level of drama you choose to bring. It's not uncommon to see clients begin with very natural lashes and transition to more dramatic lashes when they come in for fills.
CUSTOMIZATION and finishing touches
So now that we've worked together to choose a style that complements your eye shape, and a type that suits your personality, let's customize. You can go wispy, or you may prefer more density. You may feel better with shorter lashes or perhaps you want your lashes to be sweepingly long. Again, the important thing is that you feel comfortable and beautiful.
I hope this information helps.
Peace and love and beautiful lashes to you all.
